Technically, The National Credit Regulator (NCR) does not remove you from debt review in South Africa, a NCR registered Debt Counsellor does. If you want to clear your name from the NCR, you should visit www.meerkat.co.za.
The only way to cancel NCR debt review in South Africa is if you get issued with a NCR clearance certificate. For this to happen, you must meet one of the following criteria:

There is no set time that debt review stays on your name. This will depend on the amount of debt you have and how much you are able to contribute towards it every month.
